The reporters were seated too close for Daniel. Darren put his hand on the guitarist’s knee surreptitiously and he relaxed.
“So, Darren. You are quite the engagé when it comes to the Starlight Foundation. Why is that?”
“Because I love children and I believe in the work that they do there.”
“Are you ever going to have children?”
The singer hesitated, biting his lower lip.
Daniel placed his hand on Darren’s thigh, returning the favor with a small smile.
“We’re hoping to adopt sometime, actually. After our career has settled down a bit.”
“And your marriage?”
“We’ve never been better.”
