Some might have called it syncretic, their partnership. Two such different individuals seemed unlikely to click.
It was more than just tall and short, light and dark. It was quiet and vocal, plain and flashy, laid back and boisterous, all those opposites that melded into a unified whole stronger than its parts alone.
It stayed hidden though, until the bright lights of the stage brought it out in all its magical wonder and they shared their gift with the world.
Embarrassed smiles competed with flagrant body language. Stolen looks seen by all. The love they shared was unmistakable. It glowed.
