"Mum, Dad, we have something to tell you." Darren told his parents who were seated at the kitchen table.

"And you, too," Daniel told his parents who were also sitting at the table. "The thing is," Daniel stopped, unsure of how to get it out.

"We're together, in every sense," Darren finished while slipping his arm around Daniel, drawing him closer to him.

"Is that it? We're happy for you but you speak as if it were something unknown," Chris told them.

The others nodded in agreement.

"We're out of the closet now," Daniel laughed as he kissed Darren publicly.
