'Describe the sunrise for me Danny.'

Daniel looked down at the man in his arms, at his blank unseeing eyes.

'It's beautiful my love.

The sky is becoming a pale blue,

The moon but a faint glow, the silver stars slowly fading one by one.

Soft pinks come now, gentle purples.

Oranges and yellows entwine themselves like a child's ribbons.

The sun a fiery ball of red,

Reaching out, bathing everything crimson.

It's like the sky is all freshly washed and waiting for the new day.

It's beautiful Doze.'

Silently Daniel stared out at the rain-clouded grey day. 'It's beautiful.'
